Research Design
Process of selecting a method for a particular research problem, tapping into its strengths, while mitigating its weaknesses. It is the logic that links the data to be collected (and the conclusions to be drawn) to the initial questions of study. The validity of the results depends on how well the research design compensates for the weaknesses of the methods.

O projeto de pesquisa é o processo de selecionar um método para um problema de pesquisa específico, aproveitando-se de seus pontos fortes e atenuando seus pontos fracos; é a lógica que liga os dados coletados às questões iniciais do estudo. A validade dos resultados depende de quão bem o projeto de pesquisa compensa os pontos fracos dos métodos.
